Complacency
was a word I never knew
It got the best of me
Now there's little that I do
without a drink within my hand
and a seat for me to plant
As I'm peering through the glass
my reflections all I see
because the view is obsolete
Throw a bone and rescue me
I'm rationing my thoughts
and I've scheduled all my meals
I work so I can sleep
and I get my love for free
Aw man it's coffee that I bleed
When I'm cut I can't believe
the ease at which I heal
Oh how I miss all things surreal!

Complacency
